I don't do processed sugar of any kind. I grow my own stevia plants and get honey from a local farmer, but I have tried other things. Stevia isn't bad in my opinion, if done right. I find I use different sweeteners for different things.
I like Stevia in my tea, but for cooking or baking I tend to go with natural honey.
