I forgot to reset the access for the forum after I privated the folders I wanted hidden from little eyes. lol

I, too, would like to request access. I think you said something about setting me up with privileges, but when I go there, I am still getting this notification (after cleaning my cache three times):

Try it again. Since I have all the folders restricted, the forum doesn't need to be restricted. Anyone not in an actual group will only see the start page and a message telling them there are no folders, despite the fact there are many.
