In a world of flesh and steel, where the law swings a sword, and the only rights you have are those you can defend, adventure lurks around every corner. It hides behind every bush, and watches from every tree. Are you brave enough to seek it?

A small, grey, stone castle from the days of kings. After the last royal line died off, it was given new life as a tavern and inn. It's a known sanctuary for weary travelers, and neutral ground. Disputes are to be settled outside it's walls. At the keep, one can find food and lodging for themselves, their animals, and a healer's aid.

A few miles west of Vidren Keep is Burswich village. A collection of modest huts tucked away in a small wood surrounded by rich farmlands. They've no shops, but there are a number of local craftsmen who offer their goods and services for a fair price, including an old witch who lives near the edge of the wood.

North of Vidren Keep are the Anabyre Plains, slightly hilly grasslands with a few scattered trees. The area is subject to violent thunderstorms in Summer, and deadly blizzards in Winter. On horseback it would take weeks to cross them, even at their narrowest point. If on foot, expect a very long walk of at least three seasons.

After a month of traveling South from Vidren Keep, one finds the Lainar Mountains. These great, rocky peaks, ever topped with snow, act as a natural barrier between the keep and the marauders of the southern lands. They're nearly impossible to cross over. Even for experienced mountaineers.

Nearly a month of riding East of Vidren Keep is the Luallans Sea. A fresh water sea abundant with fish. It's so wide it takes months to cross and suffers from deadly storms year round. Even when great chunks of ice choke it's most Northern and Southern regions. Any crossing attempt can be dangerous.
