Do you want your 5mb of member space set up? It's only FTP access, but you can build a member page or store images there for your use.

I used them too, until they lost a bunch of my images and I got an email about how sorry they were, but they couldn't be recovered. I'm not a paying customer there anymore. Luckily, most of them I have copies on a flash drive I use for image storage.

Now I store what I need on site for this site, including background images for the forum styles right in the forum styles' folders themselves. This way I know I'm not coming into the places and finding a bunch of that silly cat all over the place again.

I store my personal images and others on MyImgBox.com. It's one of ours too.  Makes things so much easier for me, and I know where they are and that they're safe. I do backups of the server twice a day. :)

I was expecting a big hit on the bandwidth with the addition of the images, but it all barely made a tick. Despite all the hits the various sites on the server take each day. It was a pleasant surprise. If I had known it would have such a small impact, I would have just put the stuff on the server from the start and saved myself a bunch of headaches.

Oh well. Live and learn. lol

 

In the meantime, PB is down for me, so maybe it wouldn't be such a bad idea to put a few on there.  When you get time to set it up..no hurry..

Not long ago I found a decent site only to find out you don't hotlink from the site.  You can only store the images.  And they want $9.99 per month...good luck to them on that.  It's called Jump Share..
