2 cans sliced or whole red beets in juice.
1 to 2 cups of white sugar.
1 tablespoon cinnamon.
1/3 cup flour water mix.

Bring beets, beet juice, cinnamon, and sugar to boil on high heat.
Reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes.
Turn heat back up to medium high.
When you get a rolling boil, slowly stir in the flour water mixture and continue to stir as you cook it for another minute or two.
Remove from heat, cover and let site for about 5 minutes. If done right, the beet juice will thicken into a nice sauce that clings nicely to the beets.

Serves 4 to 6.

If you want sweeter beets, just adjust the sugar to suit your own taste.

These beets also go nicely served on top of rice, pasta, and even baked or mashed potato. So serve them alone or on top of something. Either way is good. :)

This is a web image, but this is what mine look like when they're done. A nice thick, sweet sauce. :)
